Embroidery Monthly Club 2024 (1st Wed every month)

Monthly Club that meets the 1st Wednesday every month. This is a great opportunity for learning and meeting up with folks that are also enjoy machine embroidery. Bring any embroidery project to work on. Staff are available for loads of help and encouragement. Scent free classroom. $80 annual fee. 10 am to 4 pm.

When a class pattern is required and you are registering for a class online, don't forget to check below to see if there is a pattern coupon available.
How to use your coupon: select "class only", then add the pattern as a second item, apply your pattern coupon at checkout.
If you want us to hold the pattern until you come in for your class, choose "pick up" for your online order.

Class sewing machine rentals are available for a nominal fee - call the store to reserve. 780-354-3423.

*WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our classes we ask you to bring (along with your sewing machine) a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, cutting mat, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, tape measure/ruler(s), etc.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
Classes are non-refundable. No credit or refund will be given for a "no show" in class, regardless of reason. So please ensure that you are able to attend before signing up. You are welcome to arrange for someone else to take your spot in the class instead. Around The Block reserves the right to cancel classes/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full class fee.
