Parodox Point (Tues Oct 8/24)

Fun paper piecing project! Paradox Point is a "Block of the Month" Quilt pattern book by Sassafras Lane designs. You may have seen Erin use these arrows and triangles when she is free-styling borders on a panel quilt, as they are so versatile and add a dramatic element. You will have one arrow (or triangle) done by the end of class. Should you want to continue making more - you now have all the skills! Pattern includes full-size foundation papers, full colour diagrams, simple construction and a colouring page.

FABRIC & SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS
Background fabric (one arrow/triangle block): 0.5m
Arrow/Triangle (one arrow/triangle block): 2 to 3 Fat Quarters (depends on which design you choose)
We suggest prepping your fabric before cutting with starch / Best Press to reduce fraying and stretching of fabrics while piecing to improve
accuracy.

PAPER PIECING SUPPLIES
Add-a-quarter ruler (12 inch).
Glue stick
Plastic template ~3" x 12"
Foundation Paper - to photocopy the template in the book onto

WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our classes we ask you to bring (along with your sewing machine) a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, cutting mat, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, tape measure/ruler(s), etc.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
Classes are non-refundable. No credit or refund will be given for a "no show" in class, regardless of reason. So please ensure that you are able to attend before signing up. You are welcome to arrange for someone else to take your spot in the class instead. Around The Block reserves the right to cancel classes/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full class fee.
