Embroidery Monthly Club (1st Wed every month)

Monthly Club that meets the 1st Wednesday every month. This is a great opportunity for learning and meeting up with folks that are also enjoy machine embroidery. Bring ANY embroidery project to work on. Staff are available for loads of help and encouragement.
Scent free classroom. $85 annual fee. 10 am to 4 pm.

Class sewing machine rentals are available for a nominal fee - call the store to reserve. 780-354-3423.

*the first Wednesday in January is Jan 1 (store is closed) - instead, we will meet on the fourth Wednesday in January - Jan 22 then continue on with the first Wednesday of each month.

CLUB REQUIREMENTS:
Here's the cool part about this club - anything goes! Work on the same project as someone else, bring several to wrap up or start something new!
Of course, you will need a sewing machine that also does embroidery.

*WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our classes we ask you to bring (along with your sewing machine) a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, cutting mat, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, tape measure/ruler(s), etc.

CLUB CANCELLATION POLICY:
We understand that life happens! Club fees are non-refundable. Should you miss a session and wish for "more time", feel free to join us on our free drop-in sew days, like Finishing Fridays. Please be aware that our availability may be limited during these drop-in sessions.
Around The Block reserves the right to cancel clubs for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your club fee in proportion to the year attended vs cancelled.
