Swiss Cretaceous Dino Quilt (Sat May 31/25)

The fun Swiss Cretaceous Quilt by Amanda Niederhauser of Jedi Craft Girl features cross blocks and a pieced dinosaur. Finished size is 48" x 54" and is a perfect quilt pattern to use 2/3 of a layer cake.

FABRIC AND SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS
Refer to the back of the quilt pattern for fabric needs

Marking tool, pen or pencil for marking half square triangles
Basic Sewing Kit (see below what we mean by this :)
Square Ruler at least 6.5"
Tiny piece of Steam a Seam (for the eye)

SUGGESTED/HANDY TOOLS  
Clapper gets those seams super flat
Best Press is perfect to prep your fabric prior to cutting - helps keep fabric from fraying and stiffens fabric just a bit to help with fabric cut on the bias.

PREP WORK BEFORE CLASS
No prep work required. Tips on prepping and cutting fabric will be reviewed in class.

*WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our classes we ask you to bring (along with your sewing machine) a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, cutting mat, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, tape measure/ruler(s), etc.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
Classes are non-refundable, however they are transferable. No credit or refund will be given for a "no show" in class, regardless of reason. 
Around The Block reserves the right to cancel classes for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full class fee.
