Rope Bowls (Sat Jul 12/25)

Join us to make these popular and versatile DIY rope bowls. Val will share all her tips and tricks for making any size and shape of bowl. Perfect project for jelly rolls or 2.5" scrappy strips.

FABRIC AND SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS
Jelly Roll or 2.5" strips of fabric
Clothesline rope (cotton)
Walking Foot (aka Dual Feed Foot) on your sewing machine makes this much easier!
*Basic Sewing Kit (see below what we mean by this :)

Microtex 90 Needles
Poly Thread - choose coordinating or contrasting thread

PREP WORK BEFORE CLASS
Sew 2.5" strips together, end to end on a 45 degree angle

*WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our classes we ask you to bring (along with your sewing machine) a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, cutting mat, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, tape measure/ruler(s), etc.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
Classes are non-refundable, however they are transferable. No credit or refund will be given for a "no show" in class, regardless of reason. 
Around The Block reserves the right to cancel classes for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full class fee.
