Scrap Busting Day (Sat May 10/25)

Is your scrap pile overwhelming? Do you need help tackling the stash and making it USEFUL and ORGANIZED? Is this the year you are finally going to "use those scraps"? No matter your reason, come join us for some fun, roll up those sleeves and let's get cutting! We are here to help you with attainable goals (and a plan!) to use those scraps.
There are SO MANY great scrap friendly projects out there and we are bursting with ideas and can't wait to share!

This is a NO-SEW day! Just a lot of cutting, laughing, fabric swapping and snacking!
We will start off with a coffee/tea and muffin while Lindsay gives you some good tips to keep organized and how to plan for some projects then we get cutting!
Meal: we will be providing easy to grab snack type foods throughout the day to help you stay nourished and focussed!
PLUS: in-store specials for participants

Scent Free Classroom. 10 am to 4 pm. Host: Lindsay

FABRIC AND SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS
Bring ALL your scraps, you will be surprised what you can tackle in a focussed day!
Bring even the "ugly" stuff. Fay alway says, there is no ugly fabric, it just needs to be cut smaller :)
Great time to swap fabrics! We will have a "anything goes" pile where you can dump, swap or shop.
Rotary Cutter and Cutting mat (the bigger the better)

SUGGESTED/HANDY TOOLS
We feel (you may disagree!) that you are more likely to use what you cut if it is nicely starched and pressed. Then it is truly ready to go!

Best Press is perfect to prep your fabric prior to cutting
We will have a few pressing stations set up, but feel free to bring your own iron
Wool Pressing Mats - oh so lovely for pressing
Creative Grids Stripology Rulers - make for super efficient cutting!
45mm Ergonomic Rotary Cutter

PREP WORK BEFORE CLASS
Just gather up your scraps!

We love Thursdays! Why? That is when our emails are automatically sent out!

These emails are independent of each other, so if you only want to know about classes, then only check that box.
Except for my blog, the other three are automated and routinely go out on time!

If you have "unsubscribed" from any of these automated emails in the past, this is where you can sign back up for them. Unfortunately, we are not able to bypass and do the "re" subscribing for you. (Absolutely no judgment here! I know what it is like to have a really full inbox and ya just wanna trim it down! But we would be super happy if you resubscribe once your inbox is manageable again.) Keep reading to find out how to re-subsrcibe to our Constant Contact managed blog/email newsletters.

1st Thursday: New Products - what came in last month that is new (or at least new to our store)

3rd Thursday: Upcoming Classes
4th Thursday: What is on Sale

You will also notice a special interest email sign up for Longarming - we have a few things up our sleeve on this one.
If you are a longarmer (or considering a purchase) make sure to click this one off  - that way you will be included in on those emails. It could be anything from great resources, upcoming specials on supplies or machines, etc.

We anticipate that the Longarm specific email will come out a few times a year.

Our blog/email newsletters use a different marketing system that doesn't communicate well with our system at the till. SO, if you feel like you had signed up for our blog/email newsletters but aren't receiving them - click here to re-register with our Constant Contact newsletter system to make sure these land in your mailbox!

Don't forget you can also find us on Facebook and Instagram! Please join us there for fun videos, promotions and behind the scene type of fun-ness!
