Whirlwind (Thurs Oct 2/25)

If you want us to hold the pattern until you come in for your class, choose "pick up" during the checkout process.

FABRIC AND SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS
Refer to the back of the quilt pattern for fabric needs
Marking tool, pen or pencil for marking half square triangles
Basic Sewing Kit (see below what we mean by this :)

SUGGESTED/HANDY TOOLS 
Ruler: Tucker Trimmer I is super helpful for trimming your HSTs
Best Press is perfect to prep your fabric prior to cutting - helps keep fabric from fraying and stiffens fabric just a bit to help with fabric cut on the bias.

PREP WORK BEFORE CLASS
Have your fabric cut per pattern instructions.
We suggest prepping your fabric before you cut. using starch or Best Press or Best Press 2. This especially helps reduce the amount fraying and stretch when dealing with fabrics that have bias cuts.

*WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our classes we ask you to bring (along with your sewing machine) a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, cutting mat, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, tape measure/ruler(s), etc.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
Classes are non-refundable, however they are transferable. No credit or refund will be given for a "no show" in class, regardless of reason. 
Around The Block reserves the right to cancel classes for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full class fee.
