Return of the Poncho (Thurs Feb 19/26)

The Return of the Poncho is a one size fits all quilted Poncho. Great for all ages, both male and female. Perfect for the beach, campfire, ball game, or a cold day. Choose the type of batting to make it the perfect weight for whatever you need. The pattern can be adjusted easily if you want it a little longer or wider. Use Cotton Street Commons design for the poncho, create a one of a kind poncho that finishes in the correct size needed or (dare we say) - cut up an existing quilt to make your poncho! Seriously! You can!

If wanting to create your own unique poncho or use an existing quilt to make your poncho:
**TWO quilted sections that are  34" x 36" for the back and front of the poncho (larger if you wish) and ONE 17" x 22" section for the hood

Should you need time or guidance, you are welcome to come to our Finishing Fridays, where staff can assist you. Or, please, reach out.

WHAT IS IN A BASIC SEWING KIT:
For most of our classes we ask you to bring (along with your sewing machine) a 'basic sewing kit' which usually contains: rotary cutter and/or scissors, cutting mat, small snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion or collector, seam ripper, a spool of neutral 50 wt cotton thread, extra bobbins, notebook & pen/pencil, tape measure/ruler(s), etc.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
Classes are non-refundable. No credit or refund will be given for a "no show" in class, regardless of reason. So please ensure that you are able to attend before signing up. You are welcome to arrange for someone else to take your spot in the class instead. Around The Block reserves the right to cancel classes/events for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full class fee.
